Hit Points.

Hit Points is a gaming-focused, daily news brand that I developed for multi-platform digital content distributor ZMG | Ruckus Factory in February 2021. A need for a brand focused on the gaming industry and esports arose, and I was tasked with designing one from the ground up. This meant coming up with a name for starters, and once that was out of the way, designing the look and feel of the brand, including the logo and accompanying motion graphics.

As a content producer for ZMG, I supervise the creative direction for Hit Points and produce 2-3 stories daily. That means researching and pitching ideas, writing scripts, editing video content, and crafting engaging headlines. Since developing the brand, I have produced some 150+ Hit Points stories for partner news platforms such as USA Today, MSN, Yahoo, and AOL.

To get a sense of what ‘Hit Points’ is about, here’s a look at some of the content I produce on a daily basis:

Amaze Lab.

Amaze Lab is a science-focused daily news video brand I helped develop for ZMG with a small team in February 2018. After co-developing the visual design of the brand, I’ve since contributed hundreds of stories to Amaze Lab as a producer and editor. Just as with Hit Points, I’m responsible for pitching story ideas, writing scripts and editing daily-turn topical video content for partners. Amaze Lab stories cover science, space, and emerging tech news in 1 minute, with content surpassing 1.1 million views.

Here is a small sampling of the stories I’ve produced, written, and/or edited.

What is Amaze Lab?

This is a brand spot I produced and edited for ZMG’s Amaze Lab app on Apple TV and Roku, offering a quick glimpse of what the brand is about. It also features as the Amaze Lab YouTube channel trailer.
